Ingredients:
For the Cake:
1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder

1 tsp baking powder

1/2 tsp baking soda

1/4 tsp salt

1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened

1 cup granulated sugar

2 large eggs

1 cup ricotta cheese

1/2 cup milk

1 tsp vanilla extract

1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

Instructions:
1. Preheat the Oven and Prepare the Pan:
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

Grease and flour a 9x5-inch loaf pan or line it with parchment paper.

2. Make the Cake Batter:
In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.

In a large mixing bowl, beat the butter and granulated sugar together until light and fluffy, about 3 minutes.

Add the eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.

Stir in the ricotta cheese, milk, and vanilla extract.

Gradually add the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.

3. Prepare the Chocolate Swirl:
In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the semi-sweet chocolate chips in 20-second intervals, stirring in between, until smooth.

Scoop about 1/3 of the cake batter into the melted chocolate and stir until combined.

4. Assemble the Marble Cake:
Spoon alternating layers of the plain cake batter and the chocolate batter into the prepared pan.

Use a knife or toothpick to swirl the two batters together, creating a marble effect.

5. Bake the Cake:
Bake for 50-60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

Let the cake cool in the pan for about 10 minutes, then transfer it to a wire rack to cool completely.
