Ferrero Rocher Mousse Cake 🍰🌰🍫



A rich and luxurious dessert featuring a moist chocolate cake, creamy hazelnut mousse, and a silky ganache topping—perfect for Ferrero Rocher lovers!

Ingredients

For the Chocolate Cake:

1 cup all-purpose flour

½ cup cocoa powder

1 tsp baking powder

½ cup butter (softened)

1 cup sugar

2 eggs

1 tsp vanilla extract

½ cup milk


For the Hazelnut Mousse:

1 cup heavy cream (whipped)

½ cup Nutella

½ cup chopped hazelnuts

1 tbsp gelatin (dissolved)


For the Ganache Topping:

1 cup dark chocolate (chopped)

½ cup heavy cream

Whole Ferrero Rocher chocolates (for garnish)


Instructions

1️⃣ Bake the Chocolate Cake

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease an 8-inch round cake pan.

  2. In a bowl, mix the flour, cocoa powder, and baking powder.

  3. In a separate bowl, beat the butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add the eggs and vanilla, mixing well.

  4. Gradually add the dry ingredients, alternating with milk, and mix until combined.

  5. Pour the batter into the pan and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Let cool completely.


2️⃣ Prepare the Hazelnut Mousse

  1. In a bowl, gently fold Nutella into the whipped cream until well combined.

  2. Stir in the chopped hazelnuts and dissolved gelatin.

  3. Spread the mousse evenly over the cooled cake and refrigerate for at least 2 hours to set.


3️⃣ Make the Ganache

  1. Heat the heavy cream in a small saucepan until hot (but not boiling).

  2. Pour over the chopped dark chocolate and let sit for 1-2 minutes, then stir until smooth and glossy.

  3. Pour the ganache over the mousse layer, spreading evenly. Chill for another 30 minutes.
